About Jonathan

.Jonathan started his culinary journey in 1988 at The Kings Head Ivinghoe under the guidence of his father, and Head Chef, Patrick O’Keeffe. In 2001 Patrick, Jonathan, Annie Cooney and Georges de Maison took over the ownership of The Kings Head with Jonathan taking on the role as Head Chef at this fine establishment.

A NOTE FROM THE CHEF


I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about my my approach to cooking. I strive to create classic, modern French and English dishes dishes that are not only delicious but also visually stunning.
I use the finest and freshest ingredients, locally sourced where possible. I believe that the key to great cooking is to use simple ingredients and let the flavours speak for themselves.
